The Pioneers remain at the top of the GLHL after another weekend sweep.

Fox Cities Ice Dogs 9, M&M Shamrocks 1

Fox Cities took control early with first-period goals from Logan Ueker and Alec Elkin to build a 2-0 lead. The Ice Dogs extended the margin in the second with four goals, including tallies from Chris Beyer, Cam Dahl (two), and Jason McAloon, to make it 6-0 after forty minutes. Fox Cities added three more in the third on goals from Elkin, Dustin Jonasson on the power play, and Aaron LaFave. M&M broke the shutout midway through the third with a short-handed goal from Adam Lemery. Drew Chaney stopped 41 shots for Fox Cities as the Ice Dogs won despite being outshot 42-29. McAloon led all scorers with four points (one goal, three assists).

Portage Lake Pioneers 8, De Pere Deacons 5
Portage Lake built a 5-3 lead in a high-scoring first period, with goals from Connor Raffaelli, Landon Stevens, Jack Fenton, Dawson McKay, and Bryce Hanner. De Pere stayed close early with goals from Trevor Hilt, Kole Altergott, and Janne Rukamp. The Pioneers added to the lead in the second on a goal from Austin Mikesch before Ryan Hibert answered for De Pere to make it 6-4. Portage Lake pulled away in the third with goals from Gaborik Carlson and Dylan Farmer, while De Pere closed the scoring on a goal from Zach Burns. Kole Altergott led all scorers, collecting points on all five Deacons goals in the losing effort. Portage Lake held a 46-42 edge in shots to secure the road win.

Eagle River Falcons 9, Calumet Wolverines 2

Eagle River jumped out in front with a three-goal first-period, getting two from Alex Hauswirth and another from Jacob Robinson to build a 3-1 lead after Calumet’s lone marker from Carson Kariniemi. The Falcons extended the advantage in the second with four goals, including Hauswirth’s third of the night, along with scores from Joe Fiala, Lochlan Siegmeier, and Austin Redder, while Calumet answered once on a goal from Liam Pomroy. Eagle River closed the scoring in the third with goals from Siegmeier and Cody Everson. The Falcons finished with a 44–25 edge in shots. Bruce Parisot made 35 saves on 44 shots for the Wolverines, while his counterpart Mike Madosh stopped 23 of 25.

De Pere Deacons 6, Sun Prairie Killer Bees 3
A three-goal first period proved to be the difference in the Deacons 6-3 win over the Killer Bees, who continue to search for their first GLHL win. De Pere climbed to a 3-0 lead on goals from Grady Coppo, Aidan Fahey, and Trevor Hilt. Sun Prairie got on the board early in the second on a goal from Chad Battisfore, but the Deacons answered quickly with Carson Hilt’s first of the night to restore a three-goal cushion. The Killer Bees cut into the lead in the third with goals from Joey Ferraro and Brad Stoffers, but De Pere responded with two more-Hilt scored again midway through the period and Ryan Hibert added another to secure the win. Dylan Baker made 23 saves for De Pere, which finished with a 51-26 advantage in shots.

Portage Lake Pioneers 8, Fox Cities Ice Dogs 4
The Pioneers undefeated streak to start the season continued as they knocked off the Ice Dogs 8-4. Connor Raffaelli and Bryce Hanner both scored even-strength markers in the first period to build a 2–0 lead for the Pioneers. The Pioneers extended the margin in the second with three goals from Austin Mikesch, Raffaelli, and Landon Stevens before Fox Cities responded with a short-handed goal from Jason McAloon and a power-play tally from Logan Ueker to make it 5–2. In the third, Matt Marchel scored twice and Dylan Farmer added another for Portage Lake, while McAloon scored twice more to complete a hat trick for the Ice Dogs.

Fond du Lac Bears 8, M&M Shamrocks 5
League points leader Dillon Fox added another five points to his stat line and Alex Kruger made 28 saves to rally in the thierd period and knock off the Shamrocks 8-5. The teams traded 3-1 periods, with Fond du Lac going up 3-1 in the first with goals from Nick Monfils, Tom Glomaki, and Danny Roe after M&M opened the scoring on a goal from Tim L’Huillier. Monfils added his second early in the second before the Shamrocks answered with three goals-Max Moore, Dennin Bieberitz, and Dallas McLaughlin-to take a 4-4 tie into the third. M&M briefly pulled ahead on John Cooke’s goal at 17:45, but the Bears responded with four unanswered goals the rest of the way. Monfils completed his hat trick, Fox scored twice in the final four minutes, and Roe added another to seal the win.
